Results from Undefeated

Studio 2000 fighters once again did their gym proud at the Undefeated fight night at the iPro Stadium last weekend.

Alan Whitton of Studio 2000 won his first A Class, Full Thai Rules fight against Mat Reading from Chok Dee Acadamy in York. Both fighters showed the effectiveness of Muay Thai’s full aresnal of weapons in a gripping fight with precision elbows, knees, kicks and punches. Alan took the fight on a unanimous points decision.

Studio 2000’s Adam Townsend was defending his unbeaten record against Luke Davis from K-Star in Birmingham in a B Class bout. Adam’s superb clinchwork stopped Luke in the second round to win him the fight in style.

Also representing Studio 2000 at the iPro was junior fighter Jacob Mordecai. He narrowly lost out to a much taller opponent but showed his usual grit, determination and skill to the crowd.

Thanks to all the gyms and their fighters who helped to make the night, courtesy of Sai Varley, another resoundidng success and thank you to all those who came to show your support and created an amazing atmosphere.

It’s (nearly) showtime!

It’s nearly time…

In just a week, fighters from across the country will arrive in Derby to test their skills and showcase the art of Muay Thai.

Studio 2000, courtesy of Sai Varley, will host “Undefeated” – the latest top class fight night to be held at the the iPro Stadium in Pride Park on April 18.

We say it every time but these shows really are a class act, with a four-course meal, table service and of course a display of dynamic Thai boxing.

Results from Championship Thai Boxing Show

Wow what a night of action, fantastic performances, great results and superb support!

Studio 2000’s Adam Townsend was crowned the new WRSA Midland Area Champion after stopping his opponent, Blake Moore from Sor Chang Kow, in the fourth round. A brilliant display!

Casey Braddock also retained his unbeaten record after defeating Chrystian Korzienoski from Wicker Camp in a five round thriller.

Will Stringer stepped into the ring for his first fight and showed great poise, listening well to his corner and winning his bout against Liam Griffin from Stoke Thai.

And the Studio 2000 family is also hugely proud of its junior fighters Jacob Mordecei and Kye Souden. Both lost in split decision results but showed great skill and composure in the ring.

A special mention also to Patrick Kelly. Patrick trained hard for his fight and looked in great shape but unfortunately his opponent failed his medical so the fight had to be cancelled on the night. Sadly this is part of the fight game and we’re sure Patrick will get his time to shine soon.

Thanks to all the fighters, their cornermen and women and loyal supporters for making it another fantastic night.

Pictures from the night are on our Facebook page so feel free to post yours from the event too. A live rundown of the fights and results is also on our Twitter page – click the icons on this website to see more.
