Results from Undefeated

Studio 2000 fighters once again did their gym proud at the Undefeated fight night at the iPro Stadium last weekend.

Alan Whitton of Studio 2000 won his first A Class, Full Thai Rules fight against Mat Reading from Chok Dee Acadamy in York. Both fighters showed the effectiveness of Muay Thai’s full aresnal of weapons in a gripping fight with precision elbows, knees, kicks and punches. Alan took the fight on a unanimous points decision.

Studio 2000’s Adam Townsend was defending his unbeaten record against Luke Davis from K-Star in Birmingham in a B Class bout. Adam’s superb clinchwork stopped Luke in the second round to win him the fight in style.

Also representing Studio 2000 at the iPro was junior fighter Jacob Mordecai. He narrowly lost out to a much taller opponent but showed his usual grit, determination and skill to the crowd.

Thanks to all the gyms and their fighters who helped to make the night, courtesy of Sai Varley, another resoundidng success and thank you to all those who came to show your support and created an amazing atmosphere.

What’s in store

The next Studio 2000 fight night is just round the corner and this time there will be an added extra for you Muay Thai fans.

On April 18, as well as the usual top class meal and fights at the iPro Stadium, Pride Park – courtesy of Sai Varley – there will also be an equipment sale so you can kit yourself out with the latest Muay Thai gear. Make sure you bring some extra cash!

As always, Studio 2000 fighters will be proudly representing their gym at the event. Adam Townsend will be defending his unbeaten record for this “Undefeated” show while Alan Whitton will be fighting his first Full Thai Rules, A-class bout. Fresh from his latest victory earlier this month, junior fighter Jacob Mordecai will be demonstrating his skills in front of a home crowd.

Make sure you contact Sai if you want tickets and keep checking this site and our Facebook and Twitter accounts for further updates as we approach fight night.
